Overview

reacHIRE is proud to partner with T-Mobile, for a 6 month return-to-work program starting in November 2020 designed for Project Management professionals returning to the workforce after a 2+ year career break. Please note candidates who have worked in part-time roles or have done independent contracting will be considered for this opportunity. It is a cohort-based model that allows individuals to re-enter the workforce in a supported way with a group of fellow returning professionals. We provide a one-week intensive onboarding specially designed to build the skills needed to successfully re-enter the workforce. This proven approach fosters camaraderie among colleagues, builds confidence and upgrades technology and professional skills that will be invaluable throughout this next phase of their career.

Responsibilities

Assemble key players on the program / project team and facilitate internal working relationships across the enterprise which fosters the development of cross functional teamwork. Pull together the inter-related activities of the technical and operational initiatives to ensure overarching project and program goals are achieved. 


Partner with business, technology and engineering stakeholders to vet project scope through ideation and design through to project completion. Delegate project responsibilities and task interfaces, direct, motivate and manage the project work and resources involved with the project. Ensure timely activity, integration and productivity of technical support and administer efficient use of resources to meet requirements with clear identification of task completion.

Qualifications

  • 5+ year’s industry experience as a Program or Project Manager within a technology environment, with a progressive record of successful delivery of complex solutions, systems, or services. 
  • Ability to independently lead complex technical cross-functional projects from inception to closeout. Partner with stakeholders to define the project scope, develop a plan, agree on a communication plan and work processes. Oversee projects utilizing a combination of technical and soft skills to deliver the desired project results. Manage risks and exceptions, anticipate and address changes, communicate status to the project teams, management and other impacted teams. Report regularly on the overall progress of the project. 
  • Detail oriented; able to prioritize, speak and direct as a dependable business leader; problem solving skills. 
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations 

 

Desired:

  • Project Management certification (PMP, Scrum Master, etc.) 
  • Proven ability to tailor project status reports and updates to different audiences and needs 
  • Familiarity with enterprise solutions, such as web services, workflow modeling and enterprise application integration. Awareness of general accounting practices, related to program and project management.
  • Certifications in focused areas such as project management (PMP, PgMP etc), Agile methodologies/Scrum, Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management or combination of equivalent experience and education
