Overview

reacHIRE is proud to partner with T-Mobile, for a 6 month return-to-work program starting in November 2020 designed for Software Developer professionals returning to the workforce after a 2+ year career break. Please note- candidates who have worked in part-time roles or have done independent contracting will be considered for this opportunity. It is a cohort-based model that allows individuals to re-enter the workforce in a supported way with a group of fellow returning professionals. We provide a one-week intensive onboarding specially designed to build the skills needed to successfully re-enter the workforce. This proven approach fosters camaraderie among colleagues, builds confidence and upgrades technology and professional skills that will be invaluable throughout this next phase of their career.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a qualified, knowledgeable IT Professional to help our company develop, use, and integrate IT systems. S/he will be responsible for resolving technical problems and providing training to users to improve the efficiency value of technology in business. In this role, you will serve as a Software Developer, responsible for the creation of quality web or cloud-based software components that are used to support the company’s businesses and/or customers. You will work closely with the project manager, systems analysts, architects, and other developers to design, build, test, and deliver the features that make up the company’s technology experience. You will design and implement technical solutions to achieve business goals for the product offering. You will also be encouraged to provide guidance and mentoring to the other developers within the teams in accordance with your skills and experiences.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Proven proficiency of previous level skills and responsibilities of relevant job family
  • 4+ years development experience. 
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for technology and can navigate across complex and rapidly changing landscapes.
  • Experience with the tools of the trade including a variety of modern programming languages and frameworks

 

Desired Requirements: 

 

  • Design skills to help develop corporate IT systems and networks, ensuring the most effective architecture and functionality.
  • Problem solving skills to revise existing systems and suggest improvements.
  • Ability to produce concise yet thorough reports within IT and for other teams as needed.
  • Analytical skills and ability to solve issues by making timely decisions based on facts, knowledge, experience and judgment.
