*Please note that this position is expected to transition from remote to in-person sometime during the program.  Because neither reacHIRE nor T-Mobile provide relocation assistance, only local candidates, or those already planning to move to the area, will be considered. *

reacHIRE is proud to partner with T-Mobile for a 6 month return-to-work program starting in November 2020 designed for Program Managers returning to the workforce after a 2+ year career break. Please note candidates who have worked in part-time roles or have done independent contracting will be considered for this opportunity. It is a cohort-based model that allows individuals to re-enter the workforce in a supported way with a group of fellow returning professionals. We provide a one-week intensive onboarding specially designed to build the skills needed to successfully re-enter the workforce. This proven approach fosters camaraderie among colleagues, builds confidence and upgrades technology and professional skills that will be invaluable throughout this next phase of their career.

Responsibilities

Supports the business group by providing program management for technical training programs, including: partnering with senior leadership and subject matter experts to identify training needs, building out program roadmaps, and providing guidance to project managers and instructional designers. Additional duties include assisting with key business initiatives and training programs. Coordinates team or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products.

  • Program management: develop project plans and schedule and provide budget oversight, and re-evaluate and adjust as necessary.
  • Meeting management: responsible for organizing and ensuring follow-up actions are complete.
  • Leadership: provide clear direction to team members and clarify roles/responsibilities within the team as necessary.
  • Manage contracts and vendors: acts as a liaison between Management and vendor/partners on contract development, execution and vendor management.
  • Project management: Work  cross-functionally to supply statistical and status reporting on completed training programs to Manager and appropriate stakeholders (internal and external). Work with other program managers and management to identify and address cross-project dependencies.
  • Continuous improvement: Bring changes and suggestions from each program and sub-program to help improve and develop best practices. 
  • Manage change within the training programs and evaluate risks and assess potential impacts on program delivery.
  • Influencing: make sure everyone is aware of what's happening, what's next, and rally the  team as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years experience in programs, contract management, or related areas.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or program management experience.
  • 2+ years experience overseeing cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and implementing medium to large training programs, including identifying, maintaining, and/or adjusting the cost, scope, and resources, managing vendors, and overseeing the formal planning, tracking, and reporting of program performance.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Prior experience using learning management systems.
  • Prior experience with training or change management processes.
  • Prior experience with writing internal communications.
  • Comfortable jumping in to emcee or tech host events once up to speed
