reacHIRE is proud to partner with a leading technology company for a 6 month return-to-work program starting in November 2020 designed for Technical Project Management professionals returning to the workforce after a 2+ year career break. Please note candidates who have worked in part-time roles or have done independent contracting will be considered for this opportunity. It is a cohort-based model that allows individuals to re-enter the workforce in a supported way with a group of fellow returning professionals. We provide a one-week intensive onboarding specially designed to build the skills needed to successfully re-enter the workforce. This proven approach fosters camaraderie among colleagues, builds confidence and upgrades technology and professional skills that will be invaluable throughout this next phase of their career.

Responsibilities

This role will contribute to T-Mobile’s success through the delivery and implementation of medium sized projects focused around cybersecurity and governance. This will involve assisting with streamlining of processes, and/or programs to improve profitability, reduce costs, or enhance service to the business and customers. This individual will need to collaborate effectively with cross-functional business and technology development teams to solve problems and implement new solutions.·     

 

  • Ensures timely activity, integration and productivity of technical support and administers efficient use of resources to meet requirements with clear identification of task completion.
  • Work to define and deploy processes for a centralized intake for the Digital Security Organization (DSO)
  • Assist with defining KPIs which measure against critical guiding principles for cyber security
  • Work to develop content focused around raising awareness of the Governance Team programs and function 
  • Assist with development and updating of project schedules/plans with actual and forecasted deliverables and manage deviations from plan. 
  • Analyze validity of schedules submitted by outside parties contributing to the project and distribute accordingly
  • Monitor actual project progress, compare to baseline and report progress against schedule. 
  • Document, obtain approval, and track all changes in project parameters. 
  • Produce detailed reports and notifications as appropriate and communicate project status to respective stakeholders and project sponsor. 
  • Identify Risks in projects and use proven PM techniques to assess and mitigate. 
  • Facilitate project risk reviews and appropriate mitigation. 
  • Examine risks associated with the work, proposed contracts and major changes, and make recommendations for handling or equitable sharing. 
  • Forecast the impacts on schedule of proposed changes and report impact to project team, sponsor and management.
  • Attend project team meetings as required keeping the project team informed and progressing including project reviews with stakeholders as necessary
  • Assist with the creation of the project charter and examine project related technical documentation for completeness and latest versions
  • Close all project documentation and archive actual appropriate records and achievements for estimating future similar projects. 
  • Coordinate practical details of the transfer of the care, custody and control of the final product including assembly and transfer of operational and maintenance documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration,  Project Management, or combination of equivalent experience and education.
  • 2+ years Industry experience as a project or product manager within a technology environment.
  • Must have software skills
    • MS Office
    • SharePoint
  • Prior background with planning, budgeting and project lifecycle management required.
  • Nice to Have's
    • General understanding of PMI (Project Management Institute) ‘Waterfall’ framework and best practices
    • Prior background working with cybersecurity focused projects ideal, should have prior technical project management experience as a minimum
    • Prior background utilizing softwares such as PowerBi, CAPEX/OPEX, & Golden Triangle of PM (Time,cost, scope) desired but not required
