*Please note that this position is expected to transition from remote to in-person sometime during the program.  Because neither reacHIRE nor T-Mobile provide relocation assistance, only local candidates, or those already planning to move to the area, will be considered. *

reacHIRE is proud to partner with T-Mobile for a 6 month return-to-work program starting in November 2020 designed for Program Managers returning to the workforce after a 2+ year career break. Please note candidates who have worked in part-time roles or have done independent contracting will be considered for this opportunity. It is a cohort-based model that allows individuals to re-enter the workforce in a supported way with a group of fellow returning professionals. We provide a one-week intensive onboarding specially designed to build the skills needed to successfully re-enter the workforce. This proven approach fosters camaraderie among colleagues, builds confidence and upgrades technology and professional skills that will be invaluable throughout this next phase of their career.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager (Procurement) will be supporting the Chief of Staff and Procurement VP by working on a diverse range of projects that drive successful outcomes within our organization. In this role you will create a powerful story line to communicate project status and overview with Directors & Procurement VP.

  • Work within the production department to create and drive project status reporting and meetings as communication and management tools to ensure project health and to provide transparency to risks and issues that require stakeholder support and action.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Formulate and implement a strategy on project objectives within given project constraints (time, budget, quality, etc).
  • Apply frameworks and methodologies such as Agile and scrum throughout a project’s life cycle.
  • Use the right language, tone, and storytelling techniques when communicating or describing issues over email, presentations and other forms and channels of communication. 
  • Establish a collaborative culture where people with unique personalities and skills happily work together towards a unified goal.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management or related field 
  • 2-4 years of Project Management Experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Bonus Points:
    • Leading projects in an Agile environment
    • Experience in procurement department
    • Experience with POD Engage (Salesforce) and POD (Ariba)
