reacHIRE is proud to partner with Wayfair for a 6-month return-to-work program starting in July 2021 designed for professionals who are returning to the workforce after a 2+ year career break. Wayfair is hiring for a Product Marketing Manager to join their team!

 

Candidates who have worked in part-time roles or have done independent contracting will be considered for this opportunity. It is a cohort-based model that allows individuals to re-enter the workforce in a supported way with a group of fellow returning professionals. We provide a one-week intensive onboarding specially designed to build the skills needed to successfully re-enter the workforce. This proven approach fosters camaraderie among colleagues, builds confidence and upgrades technology and professional skills that will be invaluable throughout this next phase of their career.

 

Note that some of the responsibilities and areas of expertise listed below represent performance expectations to be met or skills to be gained by the end of the 6-month program. The Wayfair Return-to-Work program is designed to help candidates on-ramp and upskill. We encourage all candidates with applicable prior experience to apply!

Who We Are

The Wayfair 3D Merchandising-as-a-Service (MaaS) team is a new, rapidly growing team at Wayfair. For ecommerce, imagery sells products, however the traditional method of creating imagery in a photo studio is time consuming and expensive. Wayfair offers suppliers a new service where we create photorealistic lifestyle imagery for them, all rendered in 3D. 


The MaaS Product Marketing Team is responsible for identifying growth levers for the business, creating and improving our service offerings to suppliers with high product-market fit, and crafting GTM strategies for successful implementation. The product marketing team is hyper focused on identifying high revenue opportunities and creating high product-market fit.

Responsibilities

  • Host supplier interviews to identify key unserviced supplier needs
  • Research competitors and market drivers within the 3D imagery space
  • Size high revenue opportunities and demand
  • Assist with the creation of a go-to-market strategy, working cross functionally to understand feasibility and timelines of implementation 

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant prior experience 
  • Product Marketing experience a plus
  • Ability to thrive  in a high growth, entrepreneurial, and ambiguous environment with a high degree of comfort with change
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills in complex environments
  • Proven experience and passion for working across functions and with C-level leaders, synthesizing multiple points of view and owning a coherent action plan, all while negotiating and influencing others
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheet skills preferred; SQL and Tableau experience is a plus but not required
  • Prior experience with email marketing and/or developing marketing calendar strategy a nice to have but not required 
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communication style based on the audience
  • 3D experience not required
