reacHIRE is proud to partner with Citi’s Personal Banking & Wealth Management (PBWM) organization for a paid 6-month return-to-work program starting in July 2022 designed for experienced professionals who are returning to the workforce after a 2+ year career break. 

The program is a cohort-based model that allows individuals to re-enter the workforce in a supported way with a group of fellow returning professionals. The program involves a one-week intensive onboarding specially designed to build the skills needed to successfully re-enter the workforce, and continues with professional development workshops and networking opportunities to build and advance one’s professional skill set throughout the duration of the program. This proven approach fosters camaraderie among colleagues, builds confidence, and upgrades professional skills that will be invaluable throughout this next phase of their career. Please note candidates who have worked in part-time roles or have done independent contracting will be considered for this opportunity.


About the Role

In partnership with peer business SMEs, this role will support the execution of Citi’s Personal Banking & Wealth Management (PBWM) business strategy of ATM Transformation through the analysis and successful implementation of business functionality for the ATM Channel. ATM Transformation includes continued deployment of next generation ATMs, and the preparation for conversion from current User Interface to a new software platform with advanced features and improved client experience. 

The multiyear transformation of the ATM platform requires precise business knowledge, financial accuracy and detailed coordination and execution of the 3 year, $150mm program to upgrade the US ATM hardware and software in collaboration with Global Teams to properly leverage Citi's scale.  The expected results will be a Citi ATM Platform that delivers best in class Channel Performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate research and client feedback for new User Interface for rapid turnaround of change with Global software development team. Phases will include pilot feedback, initial rollout and ongoing client experience improvement. 
  • Define and gather KPIs to measure and monitor progress of capabilities and effectiveness to inform real-time course corrections and longer-term enhancements.
  • Optimize the denomination choices presented to clients with  new recycler feature of NextGen ATMs based on data collection and analysis of client deposit and withdrawal behavior by individual branch locations.
  • Develop presentations and status updates to support ongoing reviews of business processes and development of optimization strategies.
  • Drive control processes for new ATMs that align with process improvements for current fleet and software provided by Second and Third lines of defense. 
  • Gather and develop project artifacts as necessary including Business Requirements Documents, Functional Requirements Documents, test planning, scenario development, and project plans to support deployment schedule, compliance and product approval processes, and ongoing audit activities. 
  • Support the approval process for Software rollout through NAM and Global approval committees.
  • Document key project risks, whether stated or not, and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with business stakeholders, support, testing and development team members.
  • Manage day-to-day project responsibilities including milestone setting, task and actions management, co-ordination and execution of plan within required timelines.


  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience managing or participating in technical implementation  projects or project management role.
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to leverage data (Excel, pivot tables) to derive insights and develop strategies.
  • Team player with solid relationship management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with innate attention to detail.
  • Desire to improve processes, deliver superior experiences for our clients, and deliver value to the firm.
