reacHIRE is proud to partner with Citi’s Personal Banking & Wealth Management (PBWM) organization for a paid 6-month return-to-work program starting in July 2022 designed for experienced professionals who are returning to the workforce after a 2+ year career break. 

The program is a cohort-based model that allows individuals to re-enter the workforce in a supported way with a group of fellow returning professionals. The program involves a one-week intensive onboarding specially designed to build the skills needed to successfully re-enter the workforce, and continues with professional development workshops and networking opportunities to build and advance one’s professional skill set throughout the duration of the program. This proven approach fosters camaraderie among colleagues, builds confidence, and upgrades professional skills that will be invaluable throughout this next phase of their career. Please note candidates who have worked in part-time roles or have done independent contracting will be considered for this opportunity.


About the Team

The US Consumer Digital (USCD) organization oversees the digital products and client experiences across Citi’s Global Consumer Bank (GCB) in the US. About the Role

The Digital Product Manager is responsible for contributing to a broad range of Product Management initiatives, including helping to set the strategy and providing direction, leadership and budgetary management, etc., for the client experiences and journeys that they support. This role will be responsible for the development of product plans, strategies, and tactics while coordinating product lines through product lifecycles in coordination with the broader Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and address fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases, strategic program roadmaps, implementation plans, launches, and marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product, as well as survey and analyze competitive industry landscapes to identify relative trends, threats, and opportunities to apply in strategy development and execution.
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of product marketing for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results.
  • Partner with business units to make strategic decisions, develop market entry strategies and project plans, and execute functional strategies.
  • Gather business requirements, identify gaps, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Drive client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to clients.
  • Oversee all aspects of program lifecycle management including market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field as well as help drive innovation by working with external partners/alliances to develop products, manage ongoing relationships, and prepare agreements.
  • Contribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the company, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. 


  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital product management.
  • Experience in marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, and/or analytics.
  • Critical thinker who can creatively transform strategies into a vision via roadmaps, OKRs, etc.
  • Agile development experience writing functional requirements, including features, epics and user stories.
  • Experience in leading products built on digital, multi-tenant platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with API-first methodologies / API products.
  • Strong team player with experience working with and / or leading cross-functional teams to define and achieve high value business goals.
  • Desire to improve processes, deliver superior experiences for our clients, and deliver value to the firm.
