Overview

reacHIRE is proud to partner with Ameren for a paid 6 month return-to-work program starting in October 2022 designed for individuals who are returning to the workforce after a 2+ year career break. 

 

Candidates who have worked in part-time roles or have done independent contracting will be considered for this opportunity. It is a cohort-based model that allows individuals to re-enter the workforce in a supported way with a group of fellow returning professionals. We provide a one-week intensive onboarding specially designed to build the skills needed to successfully re-enter the workforce. This proven approach fosters camaraderie among colleagues, builds confidence and upgrades technology and professional skills that will be invaluable throughout this next phase of their career.

 

Please note: Some of the responsibilities and areas of expertise listed below represent performance expectations to be met by the end of the 6-month program. Ameren's Bright Return program is designed to get you back to work with a supported onramp. We encourage all candidates with prior relevant experience in a similar role to apply!

Responsibilities

About the Position

The Real Estate Systems Specialist is accountable for all Real Estate Department technology, and ensures the Department has the correct/best technologies in place to achieve its business objectives. This position shall also serve as the Administrator for all Real Estate systems, shall investigate and troubleshoot system problems, shall recommend and facilitate configuration changes to the systems, and manage and implement real estate technology deployments.  The position will have primary responsibility for managing the reporting and data analytics activities that are required from the Real Estate systems or other corporate applications, as assigned.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and support all technology related activities and initiatives for the Real Estate Department
  • Collaborate with various internal and vendor teams to maintain, enhance, integrate, add or replace technology solutions including the processing of routine data maintenance 
  • Manage the Real Estate systems support mailbox/ticketing system to ensure timely resolution of user submitted tickets
  • Partner with Real Estate Department employees and its contractors to manage system access, data input procedures, reporting requirements and training needs while providing technical expertise in the use of the Real Estate systems 
  • Develop, implement and maintain quality control measures to preserve system data integrity and compliance with corporate policies and procedures
  • Analyze Real Estate Department business processes and requirements to effectively apply existing and emerging technologies to business problems to create practical solutions and efficiency opportunities
  • Stay abreast of other technological developments to expand and enhance the Real Estate systems capabilities, related, but not limited to Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, Workflow Management systems and Geospatial Information Systems (GIS)
  • Work with Ameren Digital liaison and Real Estate Leadership to plan, fund, support and implement new technologies 
  • Develop reports for leadership on forecasts of performance, identify key drivers of performance and work with coworkers to develop metrics to measure various characteristics of the business

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required, preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or other related technical field. 
  • Advanced degree in a technical discipline is preferred. 
  • Three or more years of professional-level experience directly related to system administration, information system management, data management, digital technology development or IT required.
  • Consideration may be given to candidates with five or more years of related experience without the academic requirements.  
  • Experience in the Energy Sector and/or Real Estate industry is highly preferred.  
  • Project Management experience is preferred.  
  • Reporting and/or Data Analytics experience is preferred. 
  • Familiarity with ESRI based products or other GIS platforms, CLM systems, and/or Workflow Management systems including Maximo is preferred.

 

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

 

  • Proficiency with MS Windows and standard MS Office software required. 
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills required.  
  • The ideal candidate must have proven problem-solving skills as well as attention to detail.  
  • Effective communication in a team environment and exceptional interpersonal skills also required. 
  • Proficient in working on multiple projects simultaneously, often with tight deadlines.
