What You’ll Contribute Day-to-Day:

  • Oversee the quality of the NetBotz product line for Schneider Electric
  • Analyze field data to watch for emerging trends with Quality issues
  • Identify field quality issues to work with design and manufacturing teams to resolve issues, using 8D method to resolve
  • Interact with customers directly overseeing issue resolution
  • Provide technical expertise to tech support on more complex issues
  • Monitor and report on monthly quality matrix to achieve quality improvement calls
  • Provide support to manufacturing and engineering on cost reduction and quality improvement projects
  • Work with new product development teams to ensure new products are launched at the highest quality level


You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have:

  • Prior experience in network engineering/quality engineering based role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or similar technical discipline 
  • Network experience, including at least some of the following: TCP/UDP, HTTP/HTTPs, XML, SNMP v1 /v3, Modbus TCP & RTU, SMTP, AD/LDAP, Radius, syslog
  • Experience with IP Camera protocols – ONVIF and any Pelco or other API experience
  • Experience with tools, including: Wireshark, Syslog Servers, BMS and NMS Systems, MIB browsers, SOAP UI for web WSDLs 
  • Experience with ADC circuitry


It's An Added Bonus If You Have:

  • Web API experience - REST and SOAP
  • Knowledge of general Network/software security development processes
  • Experience with wireless sensors – ZigBee Pro from the TI ZStack or similar
  • Understanding of how physical layer of sensors gets translated through the microchip PIC controllers/MUX circuitry and fed up to the APP SW/FW layer
  • USB to Serial experience – FTDI chips, etc.
  • Experience with diodes – TVS diodes used in protection circuits
