Which is why our team of Program Managers are here to listen to your unique story and help you take the best next steps toward your next opportunity.We are excited to partner with Fidelity Investments for a 6-month return-to-work program starting in June 2023. This program is hybrid and requires participants to be in the office at least 1 week per month.

Summary: 

We are currently seeking a qualified, knowledgeable IT Professional to help our company develop, use, and integrate IT systems. S/he will be responsible for resolving technical problems and providing training to users to improve the efficiency value of technology in business. An ideal candidate would be both highly knowledgeable and customer oriented. S/he would possess technical knowledge in all relevant areas and aptitude for problem-solving to provide business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications. They demonstrate a proven understanding of the business or function for which the application is designed.

Responsibilities

  • Your knowledge of the software development process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution and planning
  • Use of formal methods (traditional structured or Agile/iterative) for delivering new or enhanced applications, identifying and communicating systems development processes and developing work you're doing associated with the respective phases of the lifecycle
  • Work with a variety of individuals and groups, both in person and virtually, in a constructive and collaborative manner
  • Use your strong analytical skills, ability to tackle issues and work through ambiguous situations by making timely decisions based on facts, knowledge, experience, and judgment
  • Communicate in various settings; one-on-one, small, and large groups, with peers, and senior management
  • Your ability to influencing team members and external groups
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Your ability to be organized, highly responsive and committed to quality

 

Qualifications

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study
  • 5+ years development experience
  • Experience with server-side/mid-tier languages, frameworks, libraries, and related technologies: Java EE, Apache Tomcat, Spring MVC/Spring Boot, Logback, SLF4j, Maven
  • Client-side language, library, and framework proficiency: Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, NPM, HTML/CSS, RxJS
  • Robust critical thinking skills coupled with a desire for growth, to learn and to engage with peers in technical and design discussions
  • Proven experience in communicating technical needs and capabilities to non-technical team members, product owners, and partners
  • Ability to utilize a long-term mentality to help produce scalable, maintainable solutions
  • Passion to provide guidance on standard methodologies and mentoring support to the other Developers within the wider Digital Platforms Technology team
  • Experience collaborating in a team environment to develop, deploy, and support key applications and features
  • Exposure decomposing sophisticated business problems into creative, efficient, and scalable solutions 
  • Proven understanding of the Agile software development methodology
  • Appreciation for and alignment to standard methodologies regarding object-oriented design, coding standards, RESTful service consumption and integration, common design patterns, secure application development, and test coverage

 

It's An Added Bonus If You Have:

  • Knowledge of AWS or Azure Cloud Applications
