This program is hybrid and requires participants to be in the office at least 1 week per month.

Summary: 

We are currently seeking a qualified, knowledgeable Accounting Professional that will be a key contributor providing accounting support and reporting. You will be responsible for performing accounting and financial reporting activities in relevant teams and have responsibilities working with business and finance partners to ensure accuracy of the financials.

An ideal candidate would be highly analytical with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced and highly complex organization. S/he will be responsible for the general ledger of these entities and ensuring that strong controls are maintained through quality, well documented account reconciliations. They will partner with Finance senior leaders, Business leaders, Controllers, and other finance organizations. They should also have the flexibility and the skill to both lead and contribute to their teams, providing excellent accounting support and advice to the business unit.

• Work closely with finance, accounting, and business partners to ensure transactions are accurately reflected in our financials
• Actively participate in month end accounting close activities, such as preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and performing variance analysis
• Provide well written financial commentary on monthly results and present these results during financial reporting reviews
• Assist in the annual audit process with external auditors, including the preparation of financial statements and audit schedules
• Assist in responding to inquiries from management, auditors, financial controls program members and regulatory agencies
• Participate in the development and completion of special projects

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have/Are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience preparing GAAP financial statements
• Solid understanding of Microsoft products (Excel & Word)
• Experience with, or demonstrated ability to learn, complex financial systems and multi-dimensional reporting tools (e.g. Investran, Oracle, Essbase, Power BI, Yardi)
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively and confidently with all levels of management and various groups
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently in today’s remote work environment and adhere to established deadlines
• Ability to prioritize tasks, independently research, resolve issues, and manage ambiguity.
• A multi-tasker! Excel at meeting tight deadlines independently.
• Focused on details while maintaining a broad view of business objectives.
• Ability to understand complex organizational/ownership structures.
• Ability to understand the importance of confidentiality when working with sensitive information
