We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Institutional Client Service Associate to join our Newton- Institutional Client Services Associate team. This role is located in Boston, MA-HYBRID 

What You’ll Contribute Day-to-Day:

• Answer general questions and resolve daily queries from clients, Client directors, internal and external contacts. 
• Coordinate transition process for new / terminated clients. 
• Prepare and monitor side letters including change to restrictions, regulatory updates, restriction changes, fee amendments.
• Review and collect account opening documentation including review of legal agreements and collection and annual monitoring of AML/KYC information.
• Prepare client presentation packs including the collation of performance data/asset attribution analysis data. 
• Prepare ad-hoc client reporting including reporting to custodians, Fund Administrator, income forecasting
• Prepare Due Diligence Questionnaires, Due Diligence meetings and Client Attestations.
• Prepare information included in Trustee/Director reports for client meetings. 
• Attend client meetings to discuss administration processes, when required. 
• Assist with monitoring reviews. 
• Ensure management information figures are collated on a monthly basis. 
• Input into various departmental projects. 
• Ensure that client database information is always kept up to date with any amendments.
• Maintain relationships with BNYM counterparts to ensure assistance for Mutual clients.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience 
• 2-3 years of total work experience, Experience in an institutionally focused client service role or related position within an asset management environment preferred 
• Knowledge of the US investment landscape, and desire to develop a full understanding of Newton’s distribution arrangements
• Strong attention to detail
• Keen and enthusiastic personality, adapts easily to change and works well in a team environment. 
• Ability to pass on knowledge and experience to junior members of the team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong organizational skills 
• Ability to work under pressure, within tight deadlines 
• Ability to identify and drive long term solutions to client issues

It's An Added Bonus If You Have:

• Advanced/graduate degree 
• Strong understanding and experience with the North American institutional landscape and regulatory backdrop, in addition to a knowledge of the North America intermediary and wholesale market 
• Proven success in developing and maintaining client relationships 
• Strong understanding of capital markets and investment management-related data
