**Ameren will consider applicants who currently reside within the company's Missouri or Illinois service territory.**

Responsibilities

What You’ll Contribute Day-to-Day:

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, completion and operational integration of new generation and distribution projects into Ameren’s energy delivery and generation systems. 

  • Lead or support the project planning process including initiation, design, engineering, material procurement, construction, commissioning, and close out
  • Manage project implementation including project schedule, project budget and the project resources including external vendors and contractors
  • Maintain metrics tracking, associated reporting to stakeholders, and compliance with regulatory, corporate and business function procedures during all the phases of the project
  • Assist in development of, or revision to, function-specific project management policies, procedures, and implementation 

Qualifications

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University
  • Three years of relevant project management experience. Relevant experience includes project management, and/or project lead engineering experience on large and medium complex projects
  • Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools  
  • Knowledge and experience leading high-voltage transmission lines and substation projects, OR general contracting background with construction projects
  • Proficiency with financial analysis tools 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Leadership and organizational skills

It's An Added Bonus If You Have:

  •     Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or engineering management discipline
  •     Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred or must actively pursue PMP certification upon permanent hire
  •     Experience in project management controls area
  •     Project coordination or team leadership experience
