Responsibilities

The Strategy & Innovation team drives the AI / Generative AI strategy and ecosystem/ innovation efforts for the AI Hub, Schneider Digital, and Schneider Electric at large.

 

As AI/GenAI is already transforming global technology leaders such as Schneider Electric and many of those in its ecosystem, we are looking for an AI Strategy Senior Analyst within our AI Hub / Strategy & Innovation team.

 

What You'll Contribute Day-to-Day: 

 

Strategy

  • Support the AI Strategy Team in relation with AI Spokes leaders & Strategy teams in Businesses
  • Is responsible for supporting the acquisition strategy and strategic due diligence of acquisitions files.
  • Support the creation and subsequent updates of the AI Hub’s annual strategy memo (incl. alignment with all necessary stakeholders, relevant research, etc.)
  • Support the execution of select strategy projects and deep dives as a key contributor.
  • Support prospective reflection of next global megatrends and strategic issues and help management shape the global strategy and resource allocation.
  • Assess external environment and internal capabilities to impact our positioning and priorities. Derive recommendations and challenge critical assumptions.
  • Support creation of acquisition rationales and initial files and run necessary due diligence.

Strategic Intelligence

  • Support GenAI/ AI strategic and competitive intelligence efforts.
  • Manage external vendor(s) to produce quality recurring strategic intelligence insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor and assess Schneider Electric’s global external AI ecosystem (competitors, adjacent players, markets, trends, etc.) for the fastest changing and most dynamic space in technology and business.
  • Synthesize findings and present in a succinct, analytical, and actionable manner to advise leadership on decision-making and prioritizations.
  • Support to produce quality intelligence deliverables and deep dives/projects, make recommendations to management as necessary, and disseminate content to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Help managing relationships with strategy and strategic intelligence stakeholders within and outside of AI Hub (e.g., Corporate Strategy and Strategy Intelligence, Strategic Intelligence for LoBs, BUs, etc.).

External Researchers & Analyst Relations

  • Support continuous process to identify, obtain, and distribute relevant external insights and research relating to GenAI/ AI.
  • Contribute content for an outside-in perspective to employee education and learning programs.
  • Collaborate and align closely with relevant stakeholders (e.g., SE Digital Communications, Global Marketing, etc.) to ensure messaging accuracy and consistency at a group level.

  • Enthusiasm for AI/ GenAI technology and its positive impact on Schneider and our ecosystem in Sustainability, Energy Management, and Industrial Automation.
