Responsibilities

Overview: 

 

Fidelity Digital Assets is an exciting and fast-growing business unit that is focused on bringing emerging concepts to life in the digital asset arena and delivering those solutions to Fidelity clients and prospects. The Business Execution and Controls Team is responsible for ensuring that operational controls are designed and executed effectively through documented processes. The team is now looking for an experienced Business Analyst to build partnerships and support our stakeholders from a controls perspective.

 

What You’ll Contribute Day-to-Day:

  • You will be a key contributor in delivering business requirements encompassing the control lifecycle to ensure risks are mitigated and critical business objectives are met. You will assess business situations, scope projects, guide critical thinking, develop multi-workstream programs, lead execution, and drive impactful and sustainable change for FDA. 
  • You will play a critical part in the successful exectuion of the Fidelity Digital Assets business to maintain and manage chagnes to key processes and controls. 
  • You will leverage the ability to understand the impact of initiatives, projects, technology releases, and all changes to the environbement to support the relevant business areas within Fidelity Digital Assets. 
  • You will be key contributor in delivering business requirements encompassing the control lifecycle to ensure risks are mitigated and critical business objectives are met.
  • You will assess business situations, scope projects, guide critical thinking, develop multi-workstream programs, lead execution, and drive impactful and sustainable change for FDA. 
  • Drive innovation through curiosity and comprehensive understanding of business processes and challenges.
  • Proactively identify areas of for controls impact, to support risk mitigation and quickly address any operating concerns.
  • Support deployment, business readiness, and solution enablement including, defining and documenting enablement tasks, supporting user procedure documentation, and creating and delivering solution training to internal teams.
  • Identify the operational impact to business teams for all initiatives, projects and technology releases to ensure seamless operationalization of all platform changes. 
  • Parnter with key stakeholers. Delivery, technology and the technology delivery teams to coordinate and manage expectations and deadlines. 

Qualifications

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in project program management or business analysis 
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent follow-through skills
  • A critical thinker with intellectual curiosity, strong assessment and analytical skills; the ability to understand dependencies and inter-relations of complex projects and business change
  • Business process design, redesign, and improvement experience including evaluating current state, assessing customer needs - all from a controls perspective and insight
  • Proven track record of collaborating to build consensus across multiple levels of the organization and influencing and driving delivery of senior leaders
  • Ability to work collaboratively, to interact and build strong working relationships within the team and with key partners and stakeholders
  • Outstanding multitasking skills: ability to make appropriate choices to effectively complete all tasks within specified time frames when presented with multiple priorities
  • Effective project management skills and ability to manage various tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated passion for quality, customer experience and efficiency
  • Possess a linear mindset with the ability to adapt and iterate along the way
  • Motivated self-starter: ability to work independently and flexible team player who is an active contributor to the group’s overall mission
