Summary: 

The FI Data Solutions team is looking for a highly motivated Data Analyst responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the operational and analytical capability in FI’s data

platforms. The data infrastructure is going through significant growth, and this is an opportunity to take a leading role in shaping FI capability in this area. As a skilled analyst, you will provide System/Data analysis leadership on multiple projects simultaneously. You will help with System/Data analysis across different projects with diverse scope, complex business and technical requirements in a multi-platform and highly integrated data environment. This role is analysis and design centric; crafting and detailing data solutions working with technology team

Responsibilities

  • Work within cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to utilize appropriate enterprise-level data sources analyze data requirements, and adhere to enterprise standards for delivering data solutions.
  • Integrate data into the enterprise data platform to maximize the value of our data assets.
  • Be aware of conceptual modeling tools and techniques to capture clear definitions of data elements to inform a well designed data model.
  • You are able to define user stories and tasks and can validate the impact of changes to datasets and data models.
  • With guidance, you can break up complex work into digestible work elements. You have a foundational knowledge of agile methodologies and practices.
  • Ensure all technical database decisions result in coherent system designs which use the most effective methods and tools.
  • Have foundational understanding of the data management, data governance, data taxonomy, and data models and incorporate this into your work.
  • Translate technical aspects of data modeling into language that non-technical users can understand.
  • With guidance, you gather, structure, and analyze data to provide recommendations to your team.
  • Understand enterprise data lakes and Cloud data platforms.
  • Perform analysis to assess quality and meaning of data.
  • Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex datasets that could be helpful for diagnosis and prediction.
  • Complete data validations across systems.

Qualifications

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have:

  • A proven foundation in data engineering – bachelor’s degree + preferred, 
  • 5+ years’ prior experience in data analyst or similar role
  • Expert in SQL and Stored Procedures on any relational database
  • Strong understanding of Systems analysis concepts
  • In-depth experience with creating system inter-relationship diagrams
  • Working knowledge of ER diagrams
  • Experience or understanding of the Agile software development methodology
  • Collaborated with product teams to understand the current capabilities
  • Ground-up analysis to deconstruct the existing capability and document it
  • Developed high level and detailed design
  • Documented and produced the necessary artifacts
  • Worked with Scrum master and the squad lead to understand the overall objective and

the priorities

  • Identified common patterns across capabilities and factored the same as part of high-

level design

  • Followed the agile methodology and actively participated in all ceremonies

 

It's An Added Bonus If You Have:

  • Working experience with ETL technologies 
  • Exposure to Snowflake
