Responsibilities

Executes associate, client, and prospect events. Delivers in-person and/or virtual event experiences using various technology platforms. Develops success measures, evaluates all
major events against objectives, and makes recommendations for improvement.

 

What You’ll Contribute Day-to-Day:

  • Lead, inspire, and develop an operating team/project/work process.
  • Manage a variety of employee-related aspects, such as employee relations, recruitment, retention, employee performance, and development (e.g., mentoring, coaching, and
    training).
  • Provide cost-effective yet outstanding, event experiences for a wide range of audiences in line with company and departmental mission and objectives.
  • Craft, plan, and execute one or multi-day, multi-faceted events that have an impact on audiences and help achieve key business objectives regarding internal and external
    clients (including new and existing clients).
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal colleagues, business partners, and senior leadership, as well as external clients, vendors, and industry
    associations.
  • Create timelines, coordinate planning meetings, lead work teams, collaborate with business partners for deliverables, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts in preparation for manager approvals.
  • Assume command of sophisticated event logistics, including the sourcing and management of key speakers and vendors and the creation of dynamic production
    schedules.
  • Consult with colleagues and senior management about event strategy, objectives, budget, and program goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and product groups to ensure the appropriateness of branding, including the presentation and speaker content.
  • Contribute to all agenda content development and work with the speakers on all
    logistical matters.

  • Contract Management: Manages the contracting process including planning, risk assessment, management, negotiating contract terms, ongoing oversight, and review.
  • Event Idea Creation: Collaborates with art and technical directors to generate/brainstormideas and concepts for an event.
  • Event Management: Plans, organizes, and executes events as well as coordinates resources before, during, and after an event.
  • Meeting Management: Meeting Management is the process of managing the stages and components of the entire meeting process. The actions that make meetings successfulbefore, during, and after the meeting are of equal importance. Neglecting any piece of the meeting management process can lead to poor results and additional meetings.
  • Project Scheduling: Determines project milestones and indicates when what needs to be done and by who as well as which tasks are dependent on others. Divides resources to accommodate all the roles, tasks, and responsibilities that need to be shared.
  • Virtual Event Management: Creates and manages platforms where participants can move in digital spaces with personalized avatars. Designs content interactively, enables presentations to be recorded and downloaded.
